There are few joys greater for our Heavenly Father than seeing His children come together. Imagine being a Grandparent or Parent with grown children living miles or even states apart. Now consider the joy of hearing from each of them that they’ve decided to meet in your home for a reunion or gathering. With people’s lives being so busy nowadays, what a great blessing you’re undoubtedly feeling! They’ve chosen to set aside time to be with you, all at once! There are few joys as comparable for a parent or grandparent. And I’m convinced this is a reflection of the great joy and glory we bring our Heavenly Father when we choose to set aside time for Him and come together, as His Church. If you have a church home but haven’t been back recently, surprise everyone and come home to your church family. They’ll be delighted to see you, but no one will be more joy filled to have you back in the body than your loving Heavenly Father. If you don’t have a Church Family, come try us out, or one of the many friendly congregations around town. I know you’ll be blessed, and it will be just like coming home!
